The ‘La Peru’ models form the basis of Schlagwerk’s cajon history, which originates directly from Peruvian influences. This black-face cajon is known in the flamenco scene as ‘El Negro’ and is still one of the most popular models of Schlagwerk.
As with the other ‘La Peru’ models, this cajon has individual adjustable strings. This makes it possible to adapt this cajon to the wishes of the musician. In addition, this cajon has a tight bass sound and rich middle tones, creating a sound that fits many musical styles.
